Put simply, what is important to you is important to us; we work to assist you in growth while preserving your values.

Our Services Include:
Clients will work one-on-one with either a male or female therapist. While in this setting, clients will collaborate with their therapist to set treatment goals for themselves that focus on their unique and personal needs. Individual treatment often focuses on mental health concerns, including: anxiety, depression, and trauma. However, our therapists are motivated to provide treatment for different populations with diverse needs. Your therapist will help you to determine your best options for treatment after meeting with them.
Working with one of our Marriage and Family Therapists, two people involved in a romantic relationship will participate in treatment to manage concerns in their relationship. At times, more than one therapist will be involved in the treatment to help balance the environment. The couple will collaborate with the therapist(s) present to develop an appropriate structure, as well as review goals for treatment that are tailored to the specific couple. Couples therapy is not just designed for married couples! Treatment commonly addresses concerns in relationships, including: financial concerns, communication, parenting, sex, infidelity, families of origin, co-parenting, and ongoing conflict.
Family therapy typically occurs with multiple members of a family unit participating in treatment in order to improve interactions or resolve a concern. Our Marriage and Family Therapists work with you to determine who should participate in treatment and what the family unit is trying to achieve. Common reasons for seeking family therapy include: concerns with a child, a transition that impacts the entire family, death of a family member, adjustment to a new family member, and divorce.
Group Therapy is typically facilitated by one or more therapists who are working with several people at the same time. The members of the group have similar goals and concerns to allow them to receive support and encouragement with the same things. Group therapy sessions are designed to serve diverse populations. However, these services are not offered year-round. For more information about schedules for different groups, remain in contact with your therapist or call 724-633-2260.
If you’re with limited mobility, a busy professional, or just needing help on your terms in your space—we also offer concierge services. This means, we come to you. We decide a rate and the length of session and we drive to you- the comfort of your home or even your office. Perks include session length grace, and privileges outside of business hours, teletherapy. Many people thrive therapeutically in a safe place; their home or where they are comfortable. Please let us know how we can strive to help you with concierge services.
The Therapy Collective was co-founded in 2019 by Chayne Anderson, MA MFT, Megan Hedglen, LPC, and Pamela Skovira, MA MFT.
Throughout our years working in the mental health field, we have extensive experience in various settings.
While a big agency can be ideal for certain populations, we wanted to provide a more private and personal experience for our clients.
Some of the ways we have achieved this include: development of a small team of therapists dedicated to meeting the clients' needs, a warm, private environment, and a variety of ways to pay,
including affordable self-pay options.
We have strategically located in West Newton, Pa to provide services to the surrounding areas in need. We believe in client growth as much as community growth.
Overall, our main goal is to avoid big agency limitations while continuing to provide intimate and personalized treatment.

Chayne Anderson M.A., MFT
I was educated and trained at Seton Hill University as a marriage and family therapist and am a co-founder of The Therapy Collective. I have over 6 years experience in the mental health field. As a marriage and family therapist, I am dedicated to a systemic and relational approach. My core value of this approach is seeing the complexity in people, their problems, and the solutions. I have extended training and interest working with people and families impacted by autism. Also, I have experience working with couples, families, and individuals of all ages. I believe therapy should be as tailored as possible to meet the clients needs while maintaining authenticity and an exceptional level of care.
